Sulpurs Aplenty…And we do sell rainjackets…

Think movement…
Lots of Sulphurs are tumbling down the riffles between the dam and Bunkerhill . The river continues to be at a great level for fishing at just over 2 ft on the gauge , that’s 122 Cfs-remember best levels for wade fishing are between 90 Cfs to 250 Cfs, water temperature is at a steady 52 F and the rain is actually helping folks get closer to fish…#14-18 traditional dun patterns have been accounting for more than a few fish. Elk hair caddis and feather-winged patterns sized #16-18 are great searching patterns.Try a soft hackle and phesant tail combo in the morning to get the kinks out. Long leaders in the 10 to 12 ft range will make a difference-keep in mind that we’re only casting at most two rod lengths of flyline with these long leaders…

Note: Need a tuneup? Book a guide trip through the shop and enjoy some of the best fishing we experience all year from mid May through June.
