Glad we’re on a tailwater…

~160 Cfs after an inch and a half of rain-I’ll take it. The river is NOT blown out. However it’s pretty muddy below Big Falls and should drop to a good level by Tuesday. The Gunpowder always surprises me after a big rain, partly because I cross three small creeks on the way to the shop in the morning and they always look worse.

The water is still pretty warm so we’re still seeing lots of dries. BWO’s and caddis have been working fine and with the water up try a #8-#12 black bugger. We just had a nice report of two rainbows between 6 and 7″ that were released this morning above Falls Rd. Have we mentioned that we have rain gear on sale?

Note: The new Sage RPLXi2 9ft 8wts are here. Be among the first to cast these rods…They are built with Sage’s new MPS Technology and if you’ve missed the RPLX the past few years you’ll love these rods.
