I’ve seen it with my own eyes!
A #20 Sulphur Spinner was brought into the shop this morning. It was collected above Falls Rd last night after 7:30 PM.Reports of a steady spinner fall with lots of rising fish followed… Flows are nice and low, the water is clear and between 55 and 58 throughout the catch and release section.We’re typically starting to think Tricos about now but it just goes to show that there are always a few latecomers to a good party. Beetles and small caddis are still accounting for lots of dry fly action. With three guides on the water with happy clients today I can attest that Summer terrestrial fishing is in full swing.

Note: Whether it’s an ant, beetle or hopper- just make sure you are fishing to a shaded bank.
