After over 5 years in use in the guide service, we’ve never sent a Bauer reel in for service. We currently have a M.5SL, M1SL, and M2SL in the guide service and they really shine on trips. They are simple, beautiful tools that work without a hitch-that’s important when you’ve got a client hooked into a strong, wild fish that’s headed towards a log with a #22 spinner on 7x tippet.
