Flows are still up at around 145 Cf/s and an average temp around 56 degrees. The river has held a nice green coloring which means subsurface has been most effective.
In the mornings and evenings anglers have found success using small streamer patterns, during the day a dry dropper has still proven effective with a larger dry used as an indicator and a Perdigon or hot tag nymph as the dropper. As far as tippet sizes go, the increased flow and color of the river has made fish less wary so feel free to break out that 3-4x.
Additionally, come in and stock up for your fall fishing trips, all Patagonia is still half off and we have plenty of the Airlite rods in stock from 3-5wt so come in and ask to cast one!
