Low, Clear Water, Olives and Caddis along the Gunpowder for Columbus Day Weekend
The Gunpowder is flowing at 38 CFs. It is low, clear and full of wild fish. Olives have been coming off most mornings. Caddis are also a good bet mid-day. MDDNR Fisheries was able to finish up the shocking survey this week on the Gunpowder with a 17″ brown reported at Masemore Rd and a few stream-bred rainbows “shocked and released” at Falls Rd.
