Grand Slam on the Gunpowder….

The river is clear and a little low at 109Cfs. Finding a reason not to go fishing is getting harder after reading reports like this… “”Went out Tuesday 10/05 after talking to Rocky in the shop. He put us on to a fly which proved to be a killer pattern just below the dam. I landed 5 fish, not one less than 10 inches. Aaron Holmes had an even better day fishing from shore, landing 7 I think and getting a grand slam. The fish were tough, too! Fought hard. Really let me know when my knots were suspect (I could have had an even better day if I paid more attention to detail). Fish were also keyed in on Caddis emergers, ignoring the fully dry flies, but really taking the emerger patterns confidently. Best day we’ve had since the Sulphurs/Cicadas!!!” Aaron Muller
